Throughout last two decades advertising business has developed at a

rapid rate. Ads have a massive influence on people, we see them

everywhere, on Tv, on the Internet, in newspapers and magazines, on the
streets, on billboards, everywhere.
People of different ages are being influenced by different types of ads.
Among all the society groups, children have a lead in an amount of ads
that were made to influence especially them and their parents.
So what makes an advertisement children-oriented? It has a lot of
colourful cartoon graphics, animation, references to popular characters,
loud sounds. Everything that can catch a child's eye. And here can be a
little problem. Advertising negatively affect on children, their mental
health, their relationships with family. It is meanly to brainwash
children. Just one little example. Some child saw an ad of, let's imagine,
the Disneyland and wanted to have time there. He told it their parents,
but they have no money or have a lot of work so they cannnot make this
trip happen. It can cause problems in a family, the child can be hurt and
he probably won't understand this decision. That's why in some
countries advertisements for children are simply banned.
Parents can restrict the time their child spends in social media but I don't
think it can solve the problem.
It is reality we live in and we should accept this. And I don't think we
can blame people who are responsible for making such ads. It's their job,
and at one point, they're making it good as the stocks are rising, brand
popularity is growing and the company makes more and more money.
On the other side, as I've already mentioned, these ads can cause real
and serious problems. But today, what matters more?
