Differentiation:
Task: Y.I. will be given ready-made spinners and asked to colour in only the outcome circle in his book
Support: S.X. and F.Y. will be given specific support in relation to reading the instructions to insure that they
understand the task; D.T. will have the page read to him before he completes the activity
Assessment:
Teacher observation: Is the child participating; is the child correctly identifying the colour they are seeing?
Questioning: When do we use mixing at home? What happens when we mix ingredients for a cake? (Knowledge) Do
you think that all kinds of materials change when they are mixed? Does it matter what other materials they are mixed
with? (Evaluation)
