ELECTRO-MECHANICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS DETAILS 1.3.1 Please refer to attachment figures 2A, 2B, 2C, 3 and 4. 1.4PEN POINT/ LINE WEIGHT (Architectural, Civil Works, Structural and Electro Mechanical Drawings) 1.4.1 Refer to attachment figures 2A, 2B, 2C, 3 and 4. SECTION 2: | PREPARATION OF GE! PROJE M, General layout should consist of the following Elements, details and features: 2.4 Standard Signs/Legends 2.4.4 For Irrigation and Drainage Facilities refers to Figure 1 Page 1 of 13, 2.2 INDEX MAP 2.2.1 Index map shall be prepared for General Project layouts having or comprising 2 or more sheets. 2.3. SIZE OF PLANS 2.3.1 Size of plans shall be prepared in accordance with Sections 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 24 TOTAL SERVICE AREA 24.1 Total project service area shall be based on delineated area served by Supplementary Farm Ditches (SFD's) and Main Farm Ditches (MED's). 2.4.2 The total delineated project service area shall be reflected with the excluded areas properly identified through catch /legends. 2.5 COORDINATES GRID LINES 2.8.1. Polar/Geographic or Grid lines should be reflected in a precise and scaled manner to easily locate the site/point at the general layout. 2.5.2 Reflect location of Diversion Works with corresponding Geographic/Polar location and Grid coordinates. 2.6 OTHER OR SUPPLEMENTAL LEGENDS 2.6.1. NIA-standard legends prescribed in figure no. 1 shall be supplemented when so required in the absence of applicable legends to distinguish what elements in the general layout are being identified/interpreted. Any supplemental legends provided thereon shall be properly explained. 2.7 SURVEY CONTROL POINTS (HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL) 2.7.1 _Allestablished horizontal and vertical survey control points shall be identified and be tied to PRS-92 established NAMREA monuments, 2.8 CONTOUR LINES ’ 2.8.1 Contour lines interval with corresponding elevation shall be drawn in every 0.250m level for flat terrain, every 0.50 level for moderately steep area and ever Im level for side hill or rolling areas. 2.9 SCALE 2.9.1 Numerical and Graphical/bar scale shall be provided to every General Project Layout and shall be complimentary to each other to ensure adequacy of reference. LEGENDS 3.2.1. Refer to the provisions of Sections 2.1.1 and 2.6.1 and Figure No. 1 3.3. CONTOUR LINES 3.3.1 Provision of Section 2.8.1 shall apply. 3.4 SCALE 341. Irrigation and Drainage Network Plans shall be drawn at preferred scale of 1:4000 meters. 3.5 INDEX MAP 3.5.1. Index map shall be prepared and pro\ maps comprising two (2) or more sheets. led for irrigation and drainage network 3.6 DATA TO BE SUPPLIED AND INDICATED ON IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE NETWORKS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 3.6.0. Topographic map with corresponding contour lines and elevations 3.6.1, Location of Diversion point with coordinates 3.6.2 Alignment of Main canals and Lateral canals with reference stationing and designation or identification. 3.6.3. Alignment of main drainage and interceptor drains with reference stationing, designation or identificatio NIA Guidelines for the Preparation of Conceptual Page 3 of 13 Plans and Derailed Design Drawings for Existing and New lvrigation, Drainage and Related Infra-Facilties 3.6.4 Location of canal structures indicating the type of structure (existing or new) and the stationing. 3.6.5 Location of turn-outs (existing or new) with stationing and alignment of MFD, SFD and DD with proper designations 3.6.6 Service area served by each SFD's and MFD's or each rotation area. 3.6.7 Quarry and disposal areas with corresponding identification/designation of sites. 3.6.8 Benchmarks (original reference and newly established) _ with designation identification. 3.6.9 Existing and proposed roads, service roads, connecting roads & access roads. 3.6.10 Residential areas and other non-irrigable areas (coco plantation, high ground level, second growth forest, swampy areas, etc.) 3.6.11 Tenant boundaries and cadastral map and lot boundary of service areas, 3.6.12 Natural waterways (rivers/creeks) with proper identification. 3.7. SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM 3.7.1 Schematic Diagram of the Irrigation Network shall be prepared and composed primarily of the following: 1) Total Service Area 2) Total Discharge 3) Water Duty 4) Service Area and Discharge per Turnout Outlet along Main Canal with corresponding stationing, 5) Service Area and Discharge per 1.0. outlet along Lateral Canals with corresponding stationing. 3.7.2. Schematic Diagram of the Drainage Network shall be prepared and composed primarily of the following: 1) Drainage Area per Tributary Channel 2). Design Drainage Canal Discharge at specific tributary confluence 3) Drainage Ditch design discharge 4) Drainage Module/Drainage Specific Discharge 5) Station at Confluences SECTION 4: PREPARATION OF IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE CANAL PLANS & PROFILES 4.1. IRRIGATION CANAL PLAN SIZE OF PLANS 4.1.1 Size of plans shall be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 1.1.1 and 112. NIA Guidelines for the Preparation of Conceptual Page 4 0f 13 Plans and Detailed Design Drawings for Existing and ‘New Ivtigation, Drainage and Related Infra-Facilities SCALE 41.2 Preferred scale shall be 1:4000. 41.3 Alignment of the canal shall be based and consistent with the irrigation and drainage networks. 414 To be reflected on the plan are those enumerated on Item 3.6 except Items 3.6.1 when it is more than 2.5km away from the water source. 44,5 Additional data to be indicated on the plan are as follows: 4.1.5.1 Reference station at every 200m interval. 4.1.5.2 Point of Intersection(P!) and of Point of Tangency(PT) and other horizontal curve elements for new canals. 4.15.3. Tabulated traverse line with coordinates and distances for new and existing canals. 4.2 IRRIGATION CANAL PROFILE - The profile should indicate the following: 4.21 Scale shall be 1:4000 horizontal and 1:100 vertical and natural ground for new canal. The ground level on profile should tally with contour line level on the plan. 4.2.2. Stationing at every 200meters interval. 4.2.3 For existing canal, it shall indicate the existing gradelines of the left and right top bank including the existing canal; bottom grade line. 4.2.4 Location of canal structures including turn-outs indicating the stationing, type of structures and the design levels at the inlet and outlet. 4.25. Grade lines for the design Canal Bottom (CB), Top Bank (TB) and Water Surface (WS). 4.2.6 Tabulated canal elements from structure to Structure. 4.2.7 Representative cross-sections for canal deep cut, canal on-fill and canal on side hill 4.2.8 Details of canal lining, if any. 4.3. DRAINAGE CANAL PLAN 4.3.1 Size of plans shall be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 1.1.1 and Section 1.1.2 4.3.2 Scale shall be 1:4.000. 4.3.3. Alignment of the canal shall be based from the drainage networks. NIA Guidelines forthe Preparation of Conceptual Page S of 13 Plans and Detailed Design Drawings for Existing and New Irrigation, Drainage and Related Infra-Faciities, 4.3.4 Additional data to be indicated on the drainage plan are as follows: 43.4.1 Station at every confluence on tributary waterway 4.3.4.2 Point of intersection (PI) and Point of Tangency (PT) for new canals, and curve elements, 4343 Tabulated traverse and curve elements with coordinates and distances for new drainage canals. 4.35 The Profile should indicate the following 4.3.5.1 Scale of 1:4000 horizontal and vertical reflect the natural ground for new canal. The ground level on profile should tally with contour line level on the plan. 4.3.5.2. Indicate stationing at every 200 meters. 4.3523 For existing canal, indicate the existing gradelines of the left and right top bank including the existing canal bottom gradeline, 4.3.54 Location of tributary waterway, station confluence, type of existing, drainage structures/drainage overflow, drainage crossings, bridges and irrigation structures crossing drainage canals. 4.355 Gradelines for the design Canal Bottom (CB), Water Surface (WS) and ‘Top Bank (TB). 4.3.5.6 Tabulated drainage canal elements from structure to structure. 4.35.7 Typhical or representative cross-sections for canal deep cut, canal on- fill and canal on side hill. 4.3.5.8 Details of the drainage canal lining, if any. SECTION 5A: DIVERSION DAMS PLANS AND DRAWINGS 5A.1. SIZE OF PLANS SA..1 Provisions of Section 1-14 and 1-12 sal apply. 5A.2_ LEGENDS 5A2.1 Refer to Section 2.5.1 SA. SURVEY DATA Survey data to be incorporated as part of the Diversion Dam plans shall composed primarily of the following: a, Topographic Map of damsite - to have a general idea of the topography, river behavior and contour lines reflect the damsite coordinates (grid or geographic) NIA Guidelines for the Preparation of Conceptual Page 6 of 13 Plans and Detailed Design Drawings for Existing and New Irrigation, Drainage and Related Infra-Facilities b. Location Map ~ to locate where the construction of diversion works is placed at a larger scale, for which you can use NAMRIA Map to locate the proposed site. ©. Site Development Plan ~ where the complete appurtenances or parts of the dam are shown or reflected. . Vicinity Map - is similar with the Location map where relative location of the structure with respect to the locality are shown, but in a smaller scale. e. Cross section of Riverbed- at Dam axis, 300m away from Dam Axis viewing Downstream and Upstream, f. Profile of Riverbed- Reflecting Left and Right bank with Minimum and Normal Surface Water Level and Maximum Flood Level, g. Main Canal partial plan and profile connected and adjacent to the Dam intake structure. 5A.4 HYDROLOGICAL DATA 5A4.1 Hydrological data to be incorporated as part of the Plans/Drawings shall composed primarily of the following: a. Maximum Inflow Design Flood with corresponding Return Period. b, Tail Water Rating Curve ©. Flood Hydrograph- for isolated rainstorms for working out unit hydrograph. d. Drainage Area of Watershed €. Irrigation Diversion Requirement, Design and Discharge 5A.5 GEOLOGIC DATA , 5A.5.1 Geologic data to be incorporated as part of the Plans/Drawings shall composed primarily of the following: a, Test pit or log boring (boreholes) data at both abutments and center- Reflect data with exploration result along the dam axis. b, Foundation material gradation (particle size distribution). c. Bearing capacity, shear strength, cohesion, unit weight and angle internal friction data of the foundation material. d. Seismicity of the damsite. e. Foundation material test results using any of the following: 1. General Layout of Project area reflecting the delineated design irrigable area, location of the Dam and reservoir area and any existing facilities (ie. roads & public infra-facilities). 2. Topographic map of the dam site and the whole reservoir area and reservoir rims/flanks reflecting the contour lines with corresponding elevations up to the estimated maximum level to be submerged by the reservoir water surface, Dam axis, Spillway center line, Outer Works conduit center line alignment. Include to reflect the locations (in Grid and/or Geographic Coordinate System), Designations or Identifications and Elevations of the horizontal and vertical survey control points and bench marks, 5B3.3 Geology 1. Geologic Map of the dam site and reservoir area reflecting locations and designations of the test pits, borrow areas of embankment and quarry sites of boulders/cobbles/rock fragments & concrete aggregate materials. Prepare tabulations of materials with corresponding classifications, identified source and estimated quantities. 2. Geologic Profile/Cross Section of dam axis reflecting the locations and designations of drill holes/boreholes with the corresponding log of boreholes or the factual description of the foundation materials. Must indicate also the location of center lines of the Spillway & Outlet Works Conduit and other specially provided appurtenances (ie. tunnels, galleries and emergency outlet works /facilities. 3. Geologic Profile/Sections along Spillway line and Outlet Works Conduit line reflecting locations and designations of Boreholes/Drill holes and the corresponding log of boreholes or factual information & outline of the structure. 4. Drilling & Grouting Plan and Profile & Section and details of any other foundation treatment measures. 5B3.4.
