EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF BBLCAL STUDIES
The 12th Annual Graduate Symposium of the EABS will take place in Jerusalem at the W-F. Albright
Institute of Archaeological Research on March 31 - April 1. All graduate students, PhD candidates,
and postdoctoral researchers are invited to present on topics in their area of research including:
+ Hebrew Bible + Early Christianity
+ Ancient Near East + Rabbinics
+ Biblical Archaeology + Patristics
* New Testament + Any Other Cognate Areas
Candidates should submit their abstracts and/or posters of no more than 300 words to
students@eabs.net by 11:59 pm (CET) on January 12, 2020. Abstracts will be reviewed by a
panel of scholars who will provide feedback for the development of your research!
Non-EABS members are encouraged to submit abstracts; however, they must be a member
at the time of presentation. The one-year student membership for 2020 is €10.

2-DAY POST CONFERENCE TOUR - APRIL 2-3, 2020
This year we are pleased to announce a two-day post conference tour that is open to all who
attend. The tour includes one day in Jerusalem and one day in the Dead Sea area (Qumran, Ein
Gedi, Masada, and a dip in the Dead Sea). The cost for the post conference tour is €180 and
includes transportation to sites, entrance fees, registered Israeli tour guide, and lunch daily.
