New Hardwoods
Ensure the wood is dry. Prime all
joints, tendons, grooves, tongues,
end grains (where porous apply
second coat of Primer) and meeting
surfaces during assembly. Sandpaper
smooth and finely round-off sharp
edges. Dust off. Oily timber to be
thoroughly wiped clean with a cloth
dipped in white spirit and allowed
to dry.

GENERAL NOTES

• All wash hand basins and sinks to be supported on

75mm thick cast concrete toping with wooden
storage shelving below in the expression area and
mild steel shelving in the pasteurisation area.

• Plinth walls on the exterior wall to be finished

with Fine chisel dressed stone on cement mortar
(1:4) mix on cement sand screed (1:3) mix. Total
thickness 40mm thick.
• Facility roof to be supplied with galvanised or pvc
rain gutter.
• All facility sinks are to be connected to an
exterior soak pit to contractor's shop drawings.
