Methodology:

We first designed a set of questions (see Figures 4a, 4b, and 4c) as part of a survey to be sent
out to secondary students at NISC. There are preliminary questions, specifically addressing the
gender and the grade of each response, which is used for data analysis. After these, there are
questions that relate and give insight into the food, water, and energy footprints by specifically
targeting the usage of these utilities in everyday tasks. These questions would be used for the
data analysis.

By giving simple questions to the secondary students, this allows for qualitative and quantitative
data that can be sorted according to gender and grade. The data collected by these questions
specifically provide insight into the general trends and patterns within consumption of water,
food and energy between grades and gender. Thus, the hypothesis that higher grades tend to
use more resources can be validated using the data collected by this survey.
