1. The Problem.

Explain the problem you are out to solve. One actual problem. (This is essentially the Driving
Question)
How can I bring real world knowledge on becoming an adult to high school students?
2. The Solution.
What is needed to address/fix the problem? One solid solution. (This is essentially your
project idea.)
My idea is to make a website to teach students to do things such as: writing a check, how to file
taxes, open a checking account, rent an apartment, apply for a job etc...

3. Your Audience.
Who will feel the helpful effects of your project? Who is your project for?
My audience will be high school students.

4. Potential Problems.
What challenges do you foresee and how do you plan to overcome these?
One problem that I see coming up is organization of my website. I might not be able to create my
website in a way that I envision it. To overcome this I will spend time learning about creating
websites through online tutorials. Another problem might be reaching out to schools and site
advertisements in general. To overcome this I will reach out to as many people as possible as soon
as possible.

5. Mentors.
What mentors if any will help you reach your goal?
I plan on reaching out to high schools to see if my website can get promoted, so I’m hoping I can find
some mentors there. As of now coach Niko will act as my mentor.

6. Financial Summary.
What resources are needed to complete your project? How much will it cost? Think money
AND time. Consider materials, locations, permission, etc.
There won’t be any costs to this project that I can predict as of now; however, this project will require
a lot of time. Between research, organization, planning, doing the work, reaching out to people, etc…
I will need to manage my time efficiently in order to succeed at this project.

7. Milestone and goals.

What have you already achieved? What are your next steps and goals? What are the
important details from your timeline?
So far I’ve decided on a project idea and have a pretty clear idea of what I’m going to do.
Goals:
Research, choose the right website creator, Website layout, put research into readable information,
implement information into the website, Make sure the website isn’t boring and only filled with words,
finalize/publish the website, Reach out to high schools.
