The Origin Pancasila
The Origin Pancasila
According to the causality, the origin of Pancasila is divided into two types which are the direct
and indirect origin.
DIRECT ORIGIN
The notion of the origin of scientific philosophy can be divided into four types, such as
materialist causa, formalist causa, efficient causa and finalist causa. This theory of causality was
developed by Aristotle. As the basis of state philosophy, the origin of Pancasila is the origin of
when and during the proclamation of independence which since it was formulated by the state
founders at the first and second BPUPKI assembly, committee nine and the PPKI assembly until
its ratification. The details of the direct origins of the Pancasila are as follows:
INDIRECT ORIGIN
In causality, the indirect origin of the Pancasila was before the Proclamation of independence. It
has been explained that as long as the values of the Pancasila begin in customs, culture and in the
religious values of the Indonesian people. Thus, the indirect origins of the Pancasila are found in
the personality and in the daily view of the Indonesian people. Indirect origins of the Pancasila
indirectly if specified are as follows.
Values that become the elements of Pancasila before they are directly formulated become
the basis of the state, namely: the value of divinity, the value of humanity, the value of
unity, people's values, and the value of justice has existed and is reflected in the daily
lives of the Indonesian people before forming the country.
These values are contained in the view of life of the Indonesian people before forming
the state and used as a guide in solving problem the daily life of the Indonesian people.
Thus, the indirect origin of the Pancasila is the Indonesian nation itself as materialist
Causation namely as an indirect origin of Pancasila values.
Based on a review of causality, in the essence of Pancasila as the life view of the
Indonesian nation long before the Indonesian nation formed the State, these values have been
reflected and predicted in everyday life. In addition, the review provides evidence that the
formation of the Pancasila is not the result of reflection or thought of a person or group of people
and is not the result of the influence of major world ideologies, but Pancasila values indirectly
contained in the Indonesian people's views.
