These infographics are to be posted on our online platforms as highly simplified instructions
on how our clients can mail in their photographic negatives for developing and scanning.

The written instructions for this process are as follows:

1. You have film to develop
2. Check Price List Online
3. Fill out submission form online.
4. Receive and look at confirmation email where you have an RPL Number, which
registers and tracks your film throughout its processing.
5. Put film in mailbag, being sure to write RPL Number on it, and mail to us.
6. Receive and pay invoice. Job Commences
7. Wait whilst film is processing.
8. Photos delivered – Happy!

I have drawn up 7 draft infographics which indicate what we want these to look like. We’re
trying as much as possible to limit any text in the images, to make it as visually instructive as
possible. Furthermore, you will see that we have tried to distil multiple steps into single
slides where possible.

Our main influence is Ikea instructions, their language of visual instruction and their
instruction mascot:
My infographic drafts are below with notes. I drew a (very bad) rendition of the ikea man,
but please feel free to invent your own character for these.
The main criteria is – simple, friendly, kinda cute, composition of images geared towards
instruction.
