They waited at the airport for 24 hours.

They were expecting blue skies and sun.

Were in Perth, Australia.
4. Where did they sleep in Cairns?
They slept in a shopping center.
5. Why did they fly to Auckland and not to Christchurch in New Zealand?
Because Auckland was suffering the worst floods in its history.
6. What were they doing when the Japanese earthquake struck?
They were having a lunch in a restaurant in Tokyo.
7. Where did they go for the last part of their holiday? Did anything happen to them there?
They travelled to China, they didn’t have any more natural disasters.
