RAMON VEGA SIGNS WITH SONY MUSIC LATIN AS PART
OF THE NEW GENERATION OF MEXICAN STARS

The 14-year-old singer is part of the Vega
dynasty and will soon release his first
single.
Mexican singer, songwriter and multi-
instrumentalist Ramón Vega has signed an
exclusive recording contract with Sony
Music Latin, in a deal that promises to
revolutionize Latin music in the 2020s.
Ramón Vega, naturally attracted to music,
plays guitar and accordion with joy and
skill. His performances and knowledge of
social media have already made him a
regional star in northwestern Mexico, with
fiercely loyal teenage fans in his native
Sonora and in nearby states like Sinaloa,
Baja California and Jalisco.
Coming from the Vega dynasty, it carries
the heritage of some of the best artists of
regional Mexican music. His uncle Sergio
“El Shaka” Vega (1969-2010) was a legend
of the corrido, while his older brother
Cornelio Vega is a great star.

Ramon Vega has a very clear objective, “I
want to create a sound that has not been
done before. My music spans R&B, trap,
reggaeton, and reggae. But it also has the
stamp of Sonora, and we incorporate our
instruments like the accordion and the
sixth bass into other genres”
