Home Chromebook Care Places ● Keep your Chromebook at home. ● Be responsible for your device while the device is away from school.
Storing ● Store Chromebook on a flat surface.
● Keep Chromebook off chairs and couches. ● Keep Chromebook closed on a desk or a shelf. ● Do not place items on the Chromebook. ● Do not place any objects inside the Chromebook, especially when you close the lid. ● Store the charger with the Chromebook. ● If the device will be stored (unused) for several weeks, please charge the battery to 80% before storing as it helps maintain the battery life.
Usage ● Do not eat or drink when using your Chromebook.
● Keep the Chromebook charged. ● Sit at an area where there is a flat surface to place the Chromebook while in use. ● Use two hands to carry the Chromebook and make sure it is closed. ● Please don't carry the Chromebook by the screen
Decorate ● Do not add stickers to your Chromebook.
● Do not draw on your Chromebook. ● Do not add art to your Chromebook.
Restarting ● Restart the Chromebook every 2 weeks.
○ Here is how- 1. Press and hold down the "refresh" button and tap the power button. 2. Release the refresh button when you see your Chromebook starting back up.
Broken or Damaged ● If Chromebook becomes broken or damaged please contact the principal at your school or contact pdcsupport@stocktonusd.org
