SMALL INTRODUCTION
Peace and Well in Christ and Mary, Miss Edith
In this video we’re using some of the quantifiers like: a few, a little, how many, how
much, any and some. Where the participants of the dialogue are the students:
APARCO MARTINEZ Valeri Mirella and FELIX AMORETTI Abel Francisco. The video
has a context of an everyday situation, which is when we make the grocery shopping
list.
V: Great, We need a lot of tomatoes and onions and two packs of spaghetti
for tomorrow's lunch. Tomorrow my family will visit us.
A: That sounds good …How many tomatoes and onions do you need?
V: mmm… one minute…We have few cans of beer and we don't have any
soda. Can you bring some cans of soda or lemonade, please?
A: Ok no problem. Also, I'll buy some extra cans of beer .... Hey ... Can you
check what's in the pantry?
V: There are a few cans of atun, some boxes of cereal and we don't have
any snacks.
V: It's ok for me no problem but don't buy any chocolate, you know I don't like
chocolate.
V: Hey, Don't forget to buy the milk. How much money will you need to do
grocery shopping?
A: Uhmm I'll tell you in a few minutes. I'm doing the math.
V: Don't worry, I hope.
