CYBERSECURITY VULNERABILITY FOR THE UNITED STATES 2020 ELECTIONS 

 
Mail in ballots can be faked and cancelled 
 
 
OREGON state and nine other online voter portals only need a Name and DOB to enter. This 
allows anyone to cancel votes by abusing the system. 
 
Whenever a ballot is requested via the online portal, any ballots that are in transit, or are 
sitting at a voters house, or are yet to be cast are CANCELLED. By requesting ballots 
maliciously this allows mail-in votes to be cancelled en masse. Further, the new ballot that is 
sent out is then ready for signature fraud by malicious parties. 
 
Some states online voter portals require the last 4 digits of your SSN, driver's license, etc Whilst 
this may seem secure cyber security leaks happen all the time and these details aren't hard 
to get. These leaks have happened to both huge corporations and the government. For 
example, Equifax leaked 150 million American's data. 
 
The voter portal system allows logging in with no timeout for wrong entries. Any person with a 
computer at home could automate this with a script. In plain terms there is no security at all. 
With a name and DOB you can log on and request ballots for anyone at all. We should 
assume this vulnerability is already being abused by both private persons, political parties 
and foreign entities.
