We're all different

Once Upon a time, several animals decided to open a school in the forest. They met and
began to choose the disciplines that would be taught during the course.

The bird insisted that the school have a flight course. The fish and swimming was also
included in the curriculum. The squirrel believed that the teaching
of climbing perpendicularly in trees was fundamental. The rabbit
wanted, however, that the race would also be included in the
school's discipline program.

And so followed the other animals, not knowing that they made a
great mistake. All suggestions were considered and approved. It
was obligatory for all animals to practice all disciplines.

The next day, they began implementing the curriculum. At first, the rabbit came out
magnificently in the race; nobody ran as fast as he did. However, difficulties and problems
began when the rabbit began to learn to fly. They put him on a branch of a tree, and ordered
him to jump and fly.

The rabbit jumped from above, and the blow was so big that
it broke both legs. He didn't learn to fly and, besides, he
couldn't keep running like he used to.
The bird, which flew and flew like no one else, was forced to
dig holes like a mole, but of course, it didn't make it.
Because of the immense effort he had to make, he ended up
breaking his beak and wings, leaving many days without being able to fly. All for trying to do
the same thing as a mole.

The same situation was experienced by a fish, a squirrel and a dog who could not fly, all of
whom were injured. In the end, the school had to close its doors, and do you know why?
Because the animals came to the conclusion that we are all different. Each one has its
strengths, abilities, and also its weaknesses.
Moral of the story

A cat will never bark like a dog, or swimming like a fish. We can't force others to be think
and do some things like us. What will be achieved with that? May they suffer for not getting
to do things the way we do and for not doing what they really like.
We must respect the opinions of others, as well their capabilities, abilities and limitations. If
someone is different from us, does not mean that it is better nor worse than us. Just someone
different that we must respect.
In constructivism we're to support children and teenagers in learning, growth and accompany
them to growth at their own pace with their own limitations and abilities.

Including Felicia
Main character: Felicia
Secondary characters: Fiona, Shrek, Burro, Gato, Jengibre, Pinocho.
Topic: "Inclusion"
Idea: Felicia is living in a group of girls who are princesses, but she feels that she does not
fit in with the others, in turn the others tease her because of their physical differences. Fiona
and Shrek with the help of Gato, Burro and the others will support their daughter to be
included in the group of princesses.

Once upon a time… A lovely girl, named Felicia, everything was happy because everyone
in the kingdom treated her beautifully... As if those things happened! Although her parents
always told her that she was their beautiful little princess and her siblings, they made her feel
powerful and protected, the other children at school made her feel bad with the comments
they made, making Felicia feel bad, excluded and sad and Her grandparents, the kings of
the kingdom, always reinforced her security by telling her that one day she was going to take
over that great castle where she lived, Felicia felt pressured to be accepted.

Their afternoons were summed up in a set of very fun activities among the princesses of the
kingdom, they were imitating the models of the catwalks, they tried different dresses and
besides they made up each other. It was all so much fun until little Felicia started hearing
comments from Princess Audrey behind her back. She began to hear that she murmured
things concerning her physical appearance, or when they finished eating, that she belched
out, for the other princesses looked at her strangely and made hurtful remarks towards her
and her appearance, to the extent that she began to believe the negative things they told her
and when she looked in the mirror she began to feel disillusionment of her own person and
hesitated when her parents told her that she was beautiful and that they loved her very
much, she thought [“If Princess Audrey says I’m fat and ugly, why do my parents lie to me
about it”]. There came a day when she began to feel uncomfortable with herself, with her
own person, with her clothes, with her ways of walking, speaking or even eating, because at
home, she was used to having her and her siblings eat burp wars and with princesses she
had to use utensils and be very careful and not play why they didn’t allow them to get dirty.

Everything worsened in the days when she began attending school, as the other children of
the kingdom began to comment on the appearance of her and her siblings, as they were little
ogres because they were always the center of rare and prejudiced looks. Making them feel
their total confidence and security to the most insensitive place in the whole realm. They did
not understand why their other human companions were so insensitive, so rude and that,
even knowing that they were the children of Shrek and Fiona dared to make them feel that
way.

One day... Burro was with his children playing in the gardens of the kingdom, in that, you see
that Felicia is very sad because the other girls around her told her very ugly comments,
Burro said "A caray", he thought it was strange and when the girls left, he was on his way to
Felicia, asking "what happened? Are you okay, mija?" And Felicia didn’t say anything, she
was very sad and wanting to cry, when Burro hugged her, she burst into tears and Donkey
said "this can’t stay that way". So the other day, he told Gato and they both went to the
swamp to tell Shrek and Fiona and he got really mad.

Fiona, for her part, was worried. This couldn’t stay that way. So, together they decided to
come up with a plan for the girls to stop bothering Felicia and get her included.
Fiona and Shrek’s idea was to do something to make the whole problem go away, and it
occurred to them that they were going to visit the kingdom and stay and live in their quarters
for a week, move temporarily to be more aware. They greeted the people kindly, who
shouted with emotion. They went to ask for help and tell the plan to their friends Jengibre,
Lobo Feroz, Gato, Burro and Pinocho.

So, today was princesses class day and the teachers would be his friends, so the activities
were going to be different that day. Her first teacher was Jengibre, she would teach cookies,
give materials and instructions, the girls were not sure, because they had to get their hands
dirty to make them, Felicia for her part was very cheerful and made her cookies very rich.
After Pinocho gave acting lessons, the girls were losing a bit of shame, but it was still
ridiculous for them and their roles were ogres, Felicia at first was shy, but with confidence
decided to help the girls to act like an ogre, asking them for help to play the princess, so they
could get a ten and that made Felicia very happy. Later in the break, they played with Lobo
Feroz to hide and seek, a new game that the princesses did not know, where Felicia
supported them a little, at first being apart, but there were already some girls who managed
to include her. During the next class, he Gato was giving free dance lessons, how to move
the feet by jumping and turning, contrary to the expected waltz, this class helped a lot since
the few princesses that included Felicia began to dance with her and have fun.

At the end of class, Shrek, Fiona and Burro appeared with the others to five a message to
the class. Shrek kept a smile and spoke loudly: “Girls, have you had fun today?” to which the
girls replied yes. Fiona replied, “I am very happy, this class comes with a very important
message from our good friend Burro”.

Burro walked with a confident smile saying "Okay girls! Today we learned many things, such
as having fun with our friends, for that to happen, we must respect each other, no matter
how different we are, we must respect if we have green skin, if we are made of wood or we
dress differently ", to which all the girls nodded and embraced each other, including also
Felicia, who now felt more beautiful and cheerful, finally being accepted by her companions.
The Lion Tree

There was once a Lion that lived with many, many animals in the jungle.

Everyday, he and the other animals, would go looking for food around the jungle. One

day they decided to take different paths with the intention to get more food this time, but the

path Lion took was a heavy one, full of rocks, and ups and downs.

Lion had lived a happy and long life, but he was tired now. He walked slowly through the

jungle and looked at every place he loved, then he walked towards his favorite spot in the

whole wide jungle, laid down and closed his eyes, he took a big breath and fell asleep

forever.

Tiger was walking by the place, saw Lion peacefully laying down and went to tell the

others the bad news.

Everyone was very sad. They were going to miss their friend, Lion, a lot.

Elephant was the first one to talk, he remembered when Lion helped him freeing his trunk

from between two rocks.

Then, the Snake decided to tell her story. She remembered when nobody wanted to talk

to her because of fear and Lion helped her.

White Zebra smiled when she shared with others the time Lion made her feel better when

she was ashamed for not having stripes as the other zebras.

Turtle remembered how they used to play races and somehow Lion always ended in the

last place, Turtle couldn’t understand how it happened because he was so slow.

While they were telling their memories with Lion, Bird saw a small plant growing where

Lion had laid down. They noticed that the more they remembered him and shared their

stories; the plant grew more and more. They shared so many beautiful stories that the plant

became the biggest tree in the middle of the jungle.

Even though they felt sad, they couldn’t help but smile every time they saw the big tree.

They had many memories together and loved him so much that Lion would not be forgotten,

he would live with them forever in mind and spirit.

It was once, a beautiful city called Piggyland, this place was wonderful full of grass,
flowers of all colors and the best thing was that it had mud, it was the most exciting
and fun thing in this city.

This city was inhabited by many little pigs, some were firefighters, others policemen,
doctors, teachers and students. Here lived Peter a very cute, affectionate, and very
intelligent pig; He went to “Piggyschool” the funniest school that could exist, they
learned by playing, singing and exploring, the teachers encouraged the students to
participate and treated everyone the same, until one day, Peter was told about the
address because his Mom was waiting to take him home, Peter got scared and was
a little nervous. He kept asking; ̈ what’s up mom, what's up ̈.
A few hours later ... when he got home, his mother sat down with him to talk to him
and explain that they were going to move to “dogville”, Peter was sad and he didn't
like the idea very much, because he had many friends in Piggyland they were like
him and he really liked his school.

The following week, Peter and his family moved to “dogville,” so Peter had to start
attending a new school, where they were all fast dogs of all sizes. But what worries
Petes most is that he will be the only pig among so many dogs. The first day Peter
went to school he was afraid to talk to the puppies, but they talked to him and made
him feel comfortable.Later, in PE class, everyone had to run, jump and do tricks, the
first exercise was to run 5 laps around the yard, all the dogs ran and ran but Peter
couldn't finish the second lap because his legs They were shaking and he was very
tired, in the second exercise they had to jump over high obstacles but Peter couldn't
because he was not as flexible as the puppies, then they had to give the leg but he
couldn't. The teacher got upset with Peter because he didn't finish the activities that
he gave them, he thought he didn't want to do them because he was crazy. This
continued for 2 weeks and for Peter it was very stressful and he felt very sad about
the situation that was happening.

Three weeks later ... The teacher eventually observed and realized that Peter had
difficulties doing the exercises and that no matter how hard he tried, he could not, at
the end of the class he was worried and thought he had to do something to help him.
Days later, when he returned to school and had the physical education subject, the
teacher began the class with slow exercises such as walking, taking small jumps,
rolling, then he observed that Peter could work better, he felt happier in the classes
and that his classmates integrated him more because they could go at his own pace.
But little by little the teacher was integrating faster exercises and he again observed
that Peter continued to have difficulties doing some exercises, at the end of the
class, the teacher tried to find some way to help Peter, he thought that the idea he
had to change Some exercises were good but it had to be supplemented with more
things, this situation worried him and he decided to investigate to find some way to
help Peter...

A week later, while investigating, he thought that...

He could implement exercises that were easy for Peter but he also thought about the
idea of working in teams so that Peter could have help from someone else and it will
be easier for him to improve on the exercises that were faster. He decided to go talk
to the school principal to discuss the idea and find a solution together, they talked
about the difficulties that Peter was having to do the same activities as the other
dogs and agreed to implement the idea of the physical education teacher but also
work together with more specialists.

Later, the principal held a meeting where she explained to all the teachers that they
will have training with other specialist dogs such as doctors, nurses, psychologists
and nutritionists, in order to integrate Peter into all school activities.

The teachers learned and realized that Peter had some difficulties and the exercises
had to be adapted based on his way of learning. Peter was able to integrate into the
school and his peers when the teachers knew what to do and how to work.

The end.

Main idea: We try to convey inclusion in the school environment, since this entails a
recognition that all people have their own abilities and potential, different from those
of others, so that different needs require different or different responses. We also
focus on giving importance to emotions, so it can lead to a change in children, these
are based on experiences that have diffuse limits and are influenced by culture and
language.

Decidió ir a

necesidades exigen respuestas diversas o diferentes.
Little Marianito:
Once upon a time in a very distant forest, there was a little bear called
Marianito, who, because of health situations in their region, had to be at home.
That made him feel very sad and lonely, yet he didn't talk about it with anyone,
instead he used to tell his mom something furious: I don't like being cooped up
at home, I don't want to have computer classes, I want to watch and play with
my classmates!

Angry, he looked for a way to go out and play with his friends. So he took a few
small apples from a tree he found on the road. He ate some, and from the last
one he was going to eat, a worm came out. He was very surprised and told him:
What are you doing out of the house little bear?!.
Little Marianito felt embarrassed and a little sad and he answered: I just wanted
to go out and play with my friends, because I feel sad and lonely.
To which worm answered: ohh, I see, this is natural, we are all inside our
houses because in the region there is a big problem, but to prevent it from
getting bigger and to take care of our family and friends we must be at home,
we do not know how much longer we will be like this, but we must keep calm
and soon we will return to play outside all together. So please go home, your
family must be worried.
When he returned home Marianito found out that his mother had been looking
for him, he, repentant and with some tears in his eyes told her what he had
talked about with Mr. worm.
Mommy Bear looked at him very tenderly and said: You can always count on
someone you can trust to talk to about these things. It is important that you do,
express what you feel, in your case, you can talk to me and together we can find
solutions, in this case the way to talk and see your friends, can be by video calls
or by some game. If you want to today we can talk to Carlitos' mom, so you can
connect and play together online, and talk for a while.
Marianito, felt happy in that moment, saw the importance of expressing what he
feels, since that day he did not keep any emotion, always talking about it with
mother bear.
What is the message we want to give:
 There are situations or actions that have to be done to stay well, self-care
helps us to stay healthy and prevent disease.
 It is also important to express what we feel in those situations, to talk
about it with people we trust in order to feel better.

RACING LIKE A HARE

Hugo the turtle always wanted to be a professional athlete. He loved seeing athletics
competitions. His ultimate goal was getting to the Forest Olympics.
Of course nobody believed in him because he was a turtle and turtles can’t run. They
keep bringing him down whenever he talked about his dream. “You’ll never make it”
The other animals in the pond said. But Hugo didn’t pay attention to those
comments, he knew that he could do it one day.
“I need to train, there’s no way I could do this alone” He said to his best friend
Ramiro the frog. “But no one wants to help me”
“You need to go to the east side of the forest and meet the hares” Ramiro answered.
“They’re the only ones who can help you, you need to convince Bolt, who is the
fastest of them all, to train you.”
The next morning, Hugo made his way to the forest and left everything behind to
meet Bolt. He was nervous because he didn’t know if Bolt would agree, but that
didn’t stop him. He was determined,
He took a week to get there, but he finally got there. The forest was different from
everything he knew. He had always live in his little house near the pond, he never
explored anything other than that.
At last, he was at Bolt’s address, he took a deep breath and knock on the door. Bolt
the hare look down and looked at Hugo confused.
“Who are you?” Bolt asked.
“Hi, I’m Hugo” he responded, he proceeded to talk about his dream and begged Bolt
for help. Bolt laughed as he heard the story but took pity on the small turtle so he
agreed to help him.
Every day Bolt made him run and run for hours without rest, he demanded Hugo to
train and train and never give up. Bolt was a great mentor not only did he showed
and explained how he could get better and faster, but also he was a great supporter.
Bolt and Hugo ultimately became great friends and for years they continued to train.
Hugo never gave up, ignoring every mean comment, every moment of defeat he
had, every bad situation he could get in, and at last it payed off.
Hugo went to the Olympics, he didn’t win. But he got there, he run and he gave it his
all. He promised to come back and win one day. Bolt stayed with him, being his #1
supporter. All the animals went to watch him run that day, and no one ever laughed
at him again. They all respected his determination and his passion.

The flower and the frog.

Once upon a time... in a school many flowers, which the children could see and admire
when they went out at their break time, but there was one in particular that was the most
beautiful, but nobody came to see it since it had something special.  At her feet was a huge
and ugly frog, but the flower had not seen it and she always wondered why they did not
approach it to appreciate it.
But when she realized she did not hesitate to look down and immediately, she ordered the
frog to leave.  The very humble and obedient frog accepted immediately, because he did not
want to bother her and then he left.
After a few days, that beautiful flower began to deteriorate, its leaves and petals began to
fall, the children no longer looked at it as a beautiful flower, and no one wanted to look at it.
A lizard passed by and saw that the flower was crying.  I asked her what was wrong with her
and she replied that the ants were killing her.  The lizard had realized what was happening
and told him: "it was the frog that defended you from the ants and kept you so beautiful"
One day the frog that looked after that flower passed by that place, and saw the flower very
sad and deteriorated.  When the flower saw the frog, it smiled and apologized to the frog, the
flower realized the function that the frog fulfilled, which was only to take care of it and in
return she got some shade and food.  The flower and the frog reconciled and had a beautiful
friendship, taking care of each other.

  Moral
"All people are special in different ways, with our defects and virtues, and we can generate a
change in something or someone"
