4 SIMPLE STEPS

TO CREATE YOUR VIRTUAL

CLASSROOM
With ICDA standards for quality
content

1 PROVIDE BASIC INFO

it is important that all the essential information
that the students are going to need is available the
moment you log in to the course, such as; name,
email (preferably institutional), schedule, exam
dates, the Zoom link and the "Informaciones
generales de las clases virtuales" pamflet.

2 LABEL EACH UNIT

Each unit should be labeled with both its name
and its number. You should place the opening
image of the unit in the book, as the opening
image of the unit in the virtual classroom. (Please
check the attachment on page 2)

3 DIVIDE INTO SECTIONS

Each unit should be divided in the following order:
-Reading -Listening
-Vocabulary -Writing
-Grammar

Please remember that the instructions in each

section need to be clear. It is always recommended
that the exercises are completed in the platform in
order to give the proper follow up. You can add
scans or high-quality pictures of the reading or
instructing them to go over to their book, read the
text and then come back to the virtual classroom
in order to complete it.

4 ADD RESOURCES

One of the great advantages of working online is

that the resources under our disposal are near
limitless; therefore, always add extra information
about the grammar, pronunciation or vocabulary,
you could even add some advanced information
for those students that are always ahead and in
looking for a challenge!
