FT-70DR/FT-70DE Firmware Update Information

Refer to the Firmware Update Instruction Manual in each ZIP file.

The latest versions are listed below with the release dates.
 MAIN Firmware Version 1.11 (11/08/17)

Currently we have two different destination versions of the FT-70DR/FT-70DE: USA (DST: USA/
AUS), EXP (DST: EU/EXP/CHN).

*The firmware version for Japan is different from USA, AUS, EXP version. Please check the latest
firmware of the Japanese version on the Japan WEB site:
http://www.yaesu.com/jp/amateur_index/index.html.

Please open the Update Instruction Manual and review the information before starting the update
firmware.
To download the zip file “FT-70D_ver111(USA)” for USA or the zip file “FT-
70D_ver111(EXP)” for EXP” destination versions from YAESU website files section:

CAUTION:
Please be sure to confirm the model and the version of your transceiver before starting the update.
Writing incorrect firmware to the transceiver may cause abnormal operation or failure.

FT-70DR/FT-70DE MAIN Ver. 1.11

• The WIRES-X connection function is added.

• Added the DG-ID setting for the WIRES-X node station connection to the set mode menu (Set
Mode: 63: W-DGID).
• Corrected a rare case incomplete charge, and error indication, when charging a completely
discharged battery.

If you already have Main Ver. V1.11 firmware versions, it is not necessary to update the FT-
70DR/FT-70DE again.
