Task 1

You are going to read about an incident that happened to an elderly couple and their dog,
Blackie. Some words are missing from the text. Your task is to fill in each gap (1-8) with
ONE word only. Write the word on the lines below. There is an example (0) at the
beginning.

Blackie

Mr and Mrs Brown were going 0)_______ for their holiday. They had a dog called Blackie

Task 3
In this section, you are going to read an account by Racheal White, co-founder of
Thingimijigs, of how she made more than El million from the eBay business she started
at home. Some words are missing from the text. Your task is to use the words in brackets

How I Made El Million (Without Leaving My House)
