management skils? Want to create a more welcoming,

understanding and using Emotional Intelligence (EQ) can

important for every church. In fact, t's a must-earn for church
leaders who want to lead more lke Christ and abide in Crist
This training provides insights into biblical precepts and Je-
sus’ approach to managing conflict and creating believers. It
helps us understand bias, ambiguity and empathy, and to
withstand the sins of prejudice and injustice, as well as fear,
anger and Violence
‘Our expert EQ & Diversity trainers are the Revs. David Piltz and
‘Anita Powel of the Eastem PA Conference Commission on Rel

carolynca@verizon.netReport from the Finance Committee
Congratulations are due to the St. Andiew's Congtega~
tion!
In spite of the difficulties created by the Covid Virus,
Andrew’s Envelope Giving was almost 100% of the budget
ed target at the end of September. Ifthis continues to the
end of the year we could end up in with a small hudget sur-
plus at the end of the year. A lot of ctedit goes to out
Ga members that made sure that their
ee
Grate
contributions got to the chutch
eC hayeyas cach week even though they per
Feo Or orally could not. Another ir
portant source of income this yeat
was utility compensation from the
= Preschool and other outside
groups using church Relities. As expected our overall in-
come was well below budget because we were not able to
hold our annual Country Fair and other fund raisers. For-
tunately, we were also able to keep our expenses well under
budget as well. A little extia giving during Advent would
be very helpful
More Good News
We wete very fortunate this year to have received a PPP
Loan fiom Quaint Oak Bank in Southampton for about
$47,000. This was part of the government CARES program
providing salary telief during an eight-week petiod in May
and June. Within a few weeks we expect that this loan will
he converted toa giant with no intetest ot repayment te-
quited, This should be very helpful nest year should the
virus continue to impact church events well into 2021.
Report of Annual Conference
We met as an Annual Conference by Zoom. All
resolutions pased: money bills and budget, faking care of
our retited and disabled clergy, and praying for new and
continued appointments. P) will continue for one more
year. We saw videos of what is happening around the con-
ference. Diversity is us. We ate doing good. We did not
have the usual offerings, but you can give to St. Andrew's,
who will pass it on: SCH--EPA Scholatships; YYA--Youth
and Young Adult Ministries; CAMP--Camp and Retreat
Ministries. Yes, we gave permission for the possibility of
some acteage to he sold from Camp Innahah. Three
churches were allowed to die; one to leave, if they finally
