It is one of a set of fire tests for electric cables included in the AS 1660 series. Details of the whole series are given in an Appendix. Except for the changes listed in this Preface, che Standard is identical with and has ‘been reproduced from {EC 7$4-2:1991, Test on gases evolved during combustion of electric cables, Part 2: Determination of degree of acidity of gases evolved during the % combustion of materiais taken from electrie cables by measuring pH and conductivity. Under arrangements made between Standards Australia and the international Standards bodies. ISO and IEC, as well as certain other Standards organizations, users of this Australian Standard are advised of the following: la) Copyright is vested in Standards Australia. 'b) There may be occasional dual language sections, but English is always one of the languages reproduced.
