Remove the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator
Panel Replacement - Left Side.
Data Link Connector Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Body Control Module Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator
Panel Replacement - Left Side .
Body Control Module

Procedure

1 1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. Reprogram the module if replaced. Refer to Control Module References .

Tip
Push tab to release the body control module from the bracket.

Rear Body Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel
Replacement.
Rear Body Control Module Assembly

Procedure

1 1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. Reprogram the rear body control module if replaced. Refer to Control Module
References.

Tip
Push in the tab to release the module from the liftgate actuator assembly.
