The body of your abstract begins here. It should be an explicit summary of your presentation that states the relevance,
research problem, objectives of the study, research methods used, a gist of the results, research implications and
directions for future study, and keywords. Do not include scientific symbols, acronyms, numbers, bullets or lists in the
abstract. It should be single-spaced in 10-point Arial.
Relevance. The first part of your Abstract is to present the relevance of the research in relation to the theme of the
scientific event.
Research Problem. The second part of your Abstract should state the research problem you set out to solve or the
issue you set out to explore. The problem or issue might be a research question, a research gap or a societal concern,
among others.
Objectives of the Study. The third part of your Abstract is to briefly present the objectives of your study as it relates to
theory development, guide to management practice, or in enhancing the current research literature.
Research Methods. This fourth part of the Abstract should briefly present how you went about solving the problem or
exploring the issue you identified. It should also include a concise description of the process by which you conducted
your research.
Results. The fifth part of your Abstract is to list the results or outcomes of the work you have done. If your research
undertaking is not yet complete, you may still include preliminary results or your hypotheses about what those results
will mostly likely be.
Research Implications and Directions for Future Study. Finally, the sixth and last part of your Abstract should close with
a statement of the research implications and directions for future study. It should convince readers that the research is
interesting, valuable, and worth investigating further. In particular, it should convince registrants to attend your
presentation.
Keywords: To enable the organizers of 2021 ASER to classify your research correctly, state three to five keywords that
will describe the nature and scope of your study.
Remember, the content of the Abstract will be the basis for acceptance of the paper in this scientific event. The
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and the Contact Author will be informed about acceptance for presentation via email.
Be sure your email address is correct. Finally, adhere to the word limitation for the Abstract (250 words maximum).
Else, it could be rejected outright.
