Research focuses on ecology, conservation, and impacts of habitat restoration on suburban wildlife:
• Hire, manage, supervise, and train interns in safe, responsible field techniques and data collection
• Screen, query, analyze, manage ecological database with >200,000 records and 1 million observations
• GIS digitizing, analysis, and data management of wildlife and habitat restoration data; map making
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with municipal, state, and non-profit land managers
• Identify preserve-specific threats to rare, threatened and endangered wildlife and threat mitigation
• Present analyses to the broader scientific and management community; public outreach
• Field work includes small mammal trapping, camera trapping, reptile and amphibian sampling
