I am graduating from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Studies.
This degree has provided me with a broader focus to understand multiple fields of music, rather than just
a narrow focus. I have been a Soprano Section Leader for University Chorale, as well as held a vocal and
piano instructor position at a local private studio. This has allowed me to study under professors and
gather information to understand music better as a teacher.

Due to my 14 years of private training, I believe I am experienced to teach the fundamentals of

vocal practice and performance. I have classically studied in both foreign languages and opera, as well as
musical theater. I can help students in both classical music and musical theater thrive in their vocal
studies. My work ethic is strong and consistent, and I am a fast learner. I would be very grateful if given
the opportunity to join your team. A goal I have for my future students is to help them find their true
passion in music. I would love to unlock their true potential and show them that anything is possible.
