☐ Battery Master ON
☐ Connect the GPU by going into the Monitor (AviTab) on the left-hand side of
the cockpit and clicking Ground services
☐ Ground Power ON

☐ FIRE TEST – Turn the knob to the left and then to the right to activate the
alarm. To turn it off, center the knob
☐ Change L&R IRS mode to NAV, also change IRS display sector to HDG/STS

☐ Wheel well light ON
☐ Check GWPS ground system & Wait Until Fuel is loaded and IRS’s aligned.
In the meantime, file a flight plan to ATC

☐ FMC Configuration (See attached Document)
☐ Yaw Damper ON
☐ Fuel Pumps ON (if you have fuel in the center tank, select is as well)
☐ Seatbelts ON

☐ APU bleed ON

☐ Set Cruise pressure to your cruise altitude and board your passengers
☐ Anti-Collision Lights ON (located in the light panel where wheel well light is)
☐ Hold APU start until the hand on the instrument reaches 2 then switch to ON
☐ Once a blue center light emits, press the APU generator buttons

☐ Disconnect GPU by using AviTab (ground power will automatically turn off)
☐ Go to AviTab’s Main Menu again > Ground Services > Preplan Pushback
(configure that) then Start Push back and listen to the person’s instructions
3. PUSH-BACK
☐ L and R packs OFF
☐ Select L, then engine left GRD (ground)
☐ Go to the Center screen next to the throttle and wait until the number rises
to 25 and then pull the control lever up for the left engine (left control lever)
☐ Wait until the engine left switch in the overhead panel switches to auto.
Then press BOTH, then engine Right GRD, wait until it reaches 25 and pull
the right control lever up.
☐ From then On, listen to the tow’s instructions.

4. BEFORE TAXI
☐ L & R packs ON
☐ APU OFF

☐ Configure the one in red to your cruise altitude and turn on the ones in blue.
6. AFTER TAKE-OFF
☐ Gear UP
☐ Flaps retracted (0)
☐ Autopilot / CMD A ON

☐ Keep looking at the center screen of the cockpit. In the top left of that
screen you should see TAT (Number). If this goes below -1 activate engine
anti ice
7. CRUISE
☐ Seatbelt sign OFF
☐ AviTab Cruise message to your passengers
☐ Cruise / Sleep lighting (depends whether its night or day)
☐ Go to the FMC, click MENU – FMC – <INDEX - <APPROACH – Double click the
button next to 30˙
☐ When you’re 75NM from your descent point T/D (If you don’t know how to
know this then please go to the tips / tricks section at page 15) turn on
seatbelts
☐ Se your autopilot altitude to 000
8. DESCENT
☐ Landing lights ON. Before your deceleration Point → FLAPS 1 – wait until
the speed lowers and remains stable – FLAPS 5
9. BEFORE LANDING
☐ Once you’re heading into a final towards your destination (straight line to
runway) – FLAPS 30
☐ Go to the FMC > MENU > FMC > INDEX > APPROACH > Check the knot
Speed next to 30˙> set it on the Autopilot speed
☐ (optional, only for an ILS landing) When ILS in range, align the pink
diamonds, press APP (next to LNAV) when done

☐ Arm the speed brake
☐ AviTab Landing announcement and change lights to take-off / landing
☐ Landing Gear down
☐ Disconnect the Autopilot at 100ft
11. SHUTDOWN
☐ Parking brake ON
☐ Fuel Control Levers Down
☐ Ground Operations (fuel trucks, chocks etc.)
☐ Seatbelts OFF
☐ APU Bleed ON
☐ All lights off except position strobe and steady (middle position)
☐ All fuel pumps off except the very left one. All pumps OFF
☐ Anti-ice OFF
☐ Electric / Hydraulic Pumps off
☐ All of these OFF + Emergency Exit Lights ON

12. TIPS AND TRICKS
• You get your ILS frequency from the internet and your CRS / Course
setting is your Arrival Runway Heading but put in the CRS knobs
• To see how far away you are from T/D go to the FMC, click the PROG
button, and it should display in the bottom left in the form of Nautical
Miles
• If you want a fuel truck, wait until you press the GPWS ground button
then go to AviTab > Weight, Fuel and balance > Fuel > Type in the
amount of fuel you need > press OK. Then go to the AviTab Main menu >
Ground services/Fuel > fuel truck
