Project summary: „The School Around the World” topic connects students to learn about
schools and compare what it’s like to be a student in different parts of the world.

Description:
Students choose from multiple project options and share their work with the PenPal Schools
global community. To help students create their projects, each student collaborates with peers
from around the world through a series of online lessons.

The students will complete a collaborative lesson. The lesson includes a video, an
informational text, and a comprehension question to guide discussions with students around
the world: „Schools Around the World”

Objectives/Goals:
 - track and share their school day in an online journal;
- compare elements of their school day with students in the PenPal Schools community;
- design an ideal school to prepare young people for future careers and life;
- research how their school or schools in their community have changed over the past
100 years and share their findings;
- design their own project.
