What's New in Results Broker 2007.1

There have been no new features added to Results Broker in the 2007.1 version. However, we have
included the 4.4 release note information.

Specify how many years of monthly and yearly data to add to result
requests
When creating a result request, you can specify how many years of data to store in monthly and yearly
formats. This enhancement has improved performance when writing large stochastic result requests to the
database in Results Broker v4.4. In addition, Capital Planning v4.4 has achieved faster data retrieval
performance.

New ways to use existing features

Update All Document Dependencies in Peep for Smart Recalculations
Smart Recalculations from Results Broker is no longer available in Results Broker v4.4. To use the Smart
Recalculations feature, you must now refresh document dependencies using the new Update all Document
Dependencies button in Peep v4.4. For more information on updating dependency information, see Setting
the Database Preferences in Peep Help.
When you are finished updating the database in Peep, you can activate Smart Recalculations in Results
Broker for any new result request. Result requests created prior to Results Broker v4.4 that used Smart
Recalculations will not have the status of their generated results data changed by refreshing Peep document
dependencies.

What were still working on

2283560 ResBro messages that open during results generation hinder
other Merak application usage
If you are running a ResBro evaluation in the background, Resbro continually opens status messages that
make it difficult for users to work on other applications.

2290094 Peep cases are not being removed from evaluation list
If a Peep case that is already added to a Resbro evaluation list, if it is removed from the Peep database it is
still listed in Resbro and an error message titled Outcome Controls ContolError opens.
