Design criteria

As it’s guided by the design manual of the ministry of water and irrigation the following
information should be considered.
a) The peal pressure which includes the water hammer should not exceed the working pressure
of the pipe.
b)The most economical and efficient pipe is determined by the use of Cole brooking white
monogrammed which help to get velocity diameter of pipe and the associated fictional force.
c) Velocity of flow will be taken as 0.8ms.
