Please dress your child for the weather and label ALL outside gear. Children should know 20 letters and 12 sounds to meet the Kindergarten December Benchmark
at a CG (competent) standard. This month we will be going through the alphabet for the second time, emphasis will be placed on identifying beginning sounds in
words. Home Practice impacts learning very positively...Please continue to practice the letters and sounds that your child does not know at home. If you need
more resources or ideas please contact your child’s teacher. In Math we will be focusing on Sorting, Patterning, and building Number Sense.
