The tell-tale heart is a short story where the narrator meets wrapped in a
frightening environment and this one inspired by the hatreds of the personage,
which creates a frightening dread in the reader, who expects for a fatidical
conclusion agreement for his fantasies.

The above mentioned history is a flashback of an anonymous character, someone

apparently normal, who emphasizes his sanity, arguing that what may seem lack of
this are only high nerves. It is narrated in first person, for the time of the author is
understood that it is a man who tells the story that coexists with an old man who
had a different eye to any other eye that the main character could have seen
before, which causes in if an obsession to stop seeing this eye, forever.

As the history is developed we can conclude that it is a great statement on the

remorse and how the acts in human consciousness can weigh, to the point, maybe
of go crazy, making our actions are reflections of actions that only we can feel, but
our mind tries to convince us of the opposite. In this story, Poe does not give a lot
of information about the man who becomes into a murderer nor of his victim, is
short precise and direct it can also be a metaphor of an event of his life, a matter
that is only a supposition because by the time of the author and the work is very
difficult to reach true information. In this tale can also be identified despite its
extension the way of Poe to write, his imagination is magnificent for paranormal
and police events, can be considered a pioneer of this tipi literature, which is so
well received by different readers, The way he describes the murder does not do
morbidly but on the contrary is a story that as a reader fills you with expectations
and curiosity.
This book can be pigeonholed ambiguous and therefore subjective, this will only
find out each reader. The way of Poe leaves us a taste of curiosity in its mysterious
and magnificent way of writing, because these mysterious tales can come to give
you a tickle in the back if you read them in a rainy night. In order for the story to be
well received, it must have an open mind to be able to make clear its true meaning,
trying to cope with the mentality of Poe.
