Lesson Context
Reading: Comprehension Strategy: Summarising

Star 1:
You provided students with feedback during the lesson, specifically telling them
how they had already improved from their initial assessment, which then linked
back to the learning intention.

Star 2:
You gave students choice and options in note taking, remiinding them that not
everyon takes notes in the same way - it is really important for students to do this
in a way that works for them.

Next step:
To help students self-monitor and check whether they are on the right track, it
can be helpful to provide some feedback after the "we do" or group task. You
could try this by putting one example from the students up on the board and
discussing it or looking for and sharing grow and glow points.

Anything else?
This was a great non-fiction text to use to support Seven Steps strategies.
