DESING YOUR OWN ROBOT

Meet Marvin

The robot is a "Teacher Robot" model and is a product of our company "Matrix Electronics". We
have designed it to be able to partially replace teachers in the future. It is 130 cm tall, weighs 25 kg
and is programmed to speak 15 different languages. He recognizes human emotions and adapts his
behavior to humans. He speaks, listens, gestures, moves his hands and body. Its interaction is intuitive
through the built-in artificial intelligence. The robot is connected to various cloud services, databases
and objects with Bluetooth, Ethernet and Wi-Fi, through which it can provide real-time information.

Unlike teachers, we have designed it to have unlimited patience, which is a key element in working
with children. The robot is also programmed to understand what motivates students to learn, and
while teaching, it can draw examples on an electronic board, just as teachers do on whiteboards in
classrooms.

It will make the subjects fun and engaging. Students, on the other hand, will like it especially
because it will not punish them if they make mistakes.

We know that children often begin to lose interest in lessons. Gradually they dissipate and so the
school becomes useless. We in the team also worked in this direction and programmed the robot to
monitor the "level of attention" of each of the children constantly and to react when one of them
starts to lose interest. Marvin will be able to choose the right moments for each of the children.
These techniques include changing the tone and volume of the voice, gesturing and more.

We believe that many schools will want our robot to make learning more interesting, fun, but
also more useful with its additional capabilities. The robot will cost 7,000 euros.
