While students are reading I’ll be surveying the classroom and making sure
they’re paying attention. This will be a participation based grading system
leading up to the finalization of the poem which will be a test.

I wish that I could just play Ian McKellen’s soothing voice and have students
listen along, but I believe it to be beneficial to have them read aloud and gain
confidence in doing so.
