The topic of my SBA will be, “the process of how human

trafficking occurs”. I selected this topic because I am

always curious about how human traffickers manipulate
people into their evil schemes. The materials I will choose
for analysis will complement my topic, hence, they will be in
the form of an article from an online blog and a YouTube
international organization channel that explains how human
traffickers pray on people’s dreams and manipulate theminto
unwanted labor. As this is a language research, the
language skills I will make use of will include: identifying
and explaining the effect of literary devices so as to arrive
at more comprehensive understanding, analyzing the writers
tone so as to be accurate in my analysis and investigating
the appropriateness of register in order to evaluate the
credibility from the article and video. I believe that's the
human traffickers take an action, and then employs the
means of force, fraud or coercion for the purpose of
compelling the victim to provide commercial sex acts or
labor or services. At the end of the SBA, I expect to have
increased comprehension and critical thinking skills as well
as an awareness for appropriate sections of language
registers.
