The Sticky Kiss Experience is the title of the next solo show of the

Mexican artist Alessa Esteban, in the Cultural Institute of the Mexican

Embassy in Austria. Showing her recent work from the 7 to the 28 of June,
2011.

In general, she works with drawing and painting that represents

reminiscences of her family anecdotes and her younger sister’s childhood with
a strong psychological content. In this occasion, the exhibition shows her new
drawing series and some other surprises.
The series: Who wants sushi? Represents the sweet and traumatic
experiences of leaving infancy behind. Relationships between the little sisters,
games, dreams and a lot of sticky tentacles show the story of girls that smell
like fish and want to have it all in their arms.

Innocence, pain, perversity are some of the topics that generates her personal
mythology and iconic universe.
