Control 2. 8 Parameters setup 2. 8. 1 General description of parameters setup Due to the system is applicable to many types of elevator, and the elevator has different driving manner, different floor height, different motors etc., therefore, these differences must be clarified by the system, and it is implemented through the setup of system parameters. 2. 8, 2 Parameters setup method (Inspectionple: modifying motor’s rated rotation speed) step Button series Display R —> hoceteration | (Enter into parameter menu) spear wb Pore (Move the arrow for making it point to the parameter to be modified) (Modify the parameter) M 6 (Return to parameter setup menu) <8 STEP. v 1 (Return to system menu) 8 R About Save the parameter) M 9 | (Press 3 times for returning to the normal menu) SIf the parameter just modified needs to be saved, it is necessary to press the @® under the save menu "About" for returning to the status interface. If it isn't needed then the inspection switch is turned directly to "Normal" for withdrawing from the inspection status and entering into the normal learning. At this time the elevator runs with the just modified parameter, but if the elevator starts aPlusafter a power off, it will recover the original parameter. 2. 8. 3. Cautions of the parameters setup # After the parameter is modified, if the running is wanted without covering the original parameter, the elevator could be transferred into the non-inspection status. At this time, the system will run with the modified parameter. To recover the original parameter, the power supply should be shut off and then tured on, the system will recover the original parameter. #. To ensure the elevator’s normal running, whether the parameter is correct or not is extremely important. The parameter setup incorrectly may cause the elevator fault, Operation Handbook of Elevator Serial Control 2. 9 Shaft learning The shaft learning is a necessary and important link in the elevator commissioning process. Through the shaft learning, the control system could read elevator’s basic position data at every floor, thus it could control the accelerating, decelerating and leveling actions at every floor under the normal status. The shaft learning must be proceeded under the inspection status, Step | Button series Display Notes Tnspec Normal supervising Initial status window Enter into secondary 1B | supervising window | Press"<"or | : eu | 5 |_| Make the tet arrow point 2 | key, move up..| Fageword to the shaft learning item | down the arrow aft Teach In [Tnepecticn Drive the elevator to the bottom floor, enters the 3 |R Password shaft learning window after the down limit een switeh is actuated pati ae | Inspection ‘The shaft learning begins, the elevator may run up 4 |R | Paseword automatically with a slow speed, until the tope floor | | up limit switch actuates. > shagt Teach Afler returning to the normal display window, 5_| Initial status 8 the shaft learning ends | c.00 ass] | Peally. data could be saved td permanently. 20- Operation 3. The system could adjust the acceleration/deceleration slopes of the S curve and the time constants at four comers for ensuring the elevator's comfortable feeling and running efficiency. Slope of the straight line acceleration section with the acceleration slope is 10-t1, ie. the acceleration, Curve of Elevator Speed 1) Slope of the straight line deceleration section with the deceleration slope is 14-15, i.e, the deceleraion. 2) $ curve TO is $ curve first comer’s acceleration time (0-t0), parameter setup as 150 is recommended. 3) S curve TI is S curve second comer’s acceleration time (t1-t2), parameter setup as 110 is recommended. 4) S curve T2 is $ curve third comer's acceleration time (t3-t4), Parameter setup as 150 is recommended, ‘on Handbook of El sr Serial Control Oper: mh 5) S curve T3 is $ curve fourth camer’s acceleration time (15-16), parameter setup as 110 is, recommended The running curve could be adjusted by adjusting above 6 parameters. 6) Elevator rated speed. 7) Motor rated speed. 8) Encoder pulse number. Above are three very important parameters, and should be set according to equipment's nominal value, otherwise it will cause abnormal running. e.g. inaccurate speed measuring & distance measuring, resulting a given deviation, influencing the normal running. And when these three parameters’ value changes, the normal running could be entered only after the shaft learning process. When the feedback pulse accepted by the system is the signal that is given by the rotating encoder through the frequency re-dividing and accepted by other equipment, then the value after the frequency division should be setup rather than the encoder’s actual value. For Inspectionple: The rotating encoder is 1024 pulse/revolution, the signal accepted by the system is the quarter division frequency output, then the encoder impulse number of the system = 1024/4 = 256. 9) MAIN FLOOR: The base station of duplex control elevator's automatic return. 10) Floor offset: means the setup during the erroneous leveling of duplex or group control elevators. 11) Total number of floors: Setting the total number of floors should — be determined according to the value of elevator's actual leveling insert boards, Setup methods of above two parameters are explained with Inspectionples. A building has two sets of interconnected elevators, one A elevator is used for 15 floors above the ground, and without the underground floor, another B elevator for 15 stories above the ground and 2 underground floors, then the total number of stories for A is 15, the floor offset is 2, and the total number of stories for B elevator is 17, the floor offset is 0. There is a point must be noticed, the hall call setup bottom floor of elevator A is 3, and the bottom floor of elevator B is I, the addresses displayed in the car are all zero. The setting of the group control is and so forth, 12) The inverse leveling speed indicates the speed of automatically returning the leveling under elevator’s non inspection status, the range is between 0~0.2 mvs. 13) Door closing time delay 1. When the elevator parks in responding the hall call, the door open will be held within said set time, when the time is up the door closes automatically. It is valid only under the automatic status. 14) Door closing time delay 2. When the elevator parks in responding the internal selection, the door open will be held within said set time, when the time is up the door closes automatically. It is valid only under automatic status. 15) Braking time delay 1. It means the given speed curve through said set time after starting the brake releasing. 16) Braking time delay 2. During the stop, when the given speed is 0, delay said set time, close the brake. 17) Fire protection home. It means when a fire occurs, retum automatically to the set floor. 18) Elevator lock home. It means when the elevator locks, return automatically to the set floor. ibook of Elevator Serial Contrai Operat: 19) Home returning time. It is decided internally by the system. 20) Leveling adjustment. Because the disturbance exists in the actual system, in the high speed running it is necessary to modify properly the elevator's position when passing the leveling plug-in board for eliminating the accumulate error, said amount is the modifying amount, the system default value is the best. doesn't need the adjustment. 21) Duplex home. The home set for interconnected elevator, retum to this home when returning home automatically. 22) Duplex mode. During the duplex running of elevators, the master and sub elevators are set. During the group control running of elevators, the running mode of group control is set, set "0" as the master elevator, "1” as the sub elevator, "2" as group control, the single clevator running is set as the master elevator. 23) Driving mode. The running driving mode could be three kinds, "0" is the digital control; “" is analog control; "2" is used specially for Siemens inverter. 24) Input type. Entering this menu could modify input types of parameters that are allowed to be modified by the system. 25) Park landing. Entering this menu whether the elevator is allowed to park at certain floor could be set, "YES" means it is allowed, "NO" means not. 26) Display setup. This menu function could set the needed floor display as "B", "H", "M" etc, man y displays, particular codes that could be displayed are listed in the following table For Inspectionple, a certain elevator has 5 stories, it is required to display B1, -1, 1, H, 3 then the floor I display is set as 60, floor 2 — 50, floor 3 — 1, floor 4 — 84, floor 5 — 3 [ Hall call display character ‘Corresponding display code 048 [o~as 1~9 “| 50~38 | BI~B9 i | 60~68 ~ B 1 69 G, M, Mi, M2, M3, P, PI, P2, P3, R | 70~79 “| RI, R2, R3, L, H, HI, H2, H3, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, soe [exIr [38 29)Menu F_ : There are Fl to F49 totally 49 parameters in the Menu F, of which F1 to F24 totally 23 parameters could be changed in the menu, and also could be changed here.
