Strategic Digital Marketing Channels

Today the President Learner wants to assurance that the e-business acquisition will reduce

administrative costs associated with traditional brick-and-mortar health care providers while also

improving customer relationships. This will be a brief memo that will go over the capacity of e-

commerce networks and e-business models to reduce administrative expenses. I will aim at the

intermediation of e-business’s information accessed through a brick-and-mortar medical health care or

education provide. Then the disintermediation: The e-business’s health care information and services

accessed directly, often substituting or bypassing traditional medical service providers. Then finally the

reintermediation: The e-business’s health care information and services delivered by utilizing third-party

online services for medical treatment advice, customer/user data analysis, registration and sponsorship

payment processing, or information security protection.

 E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) “is the buying and selling of goods and services, or

the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet. These business

transactions occur either as business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer or

consumer-to-business” (Rouse, 2018). However, the intermediation of “E-business is similar to e-

commerce, but it goes beyond the simple buying and selling of products and services online. E-

business includes a much wider range of businesses processes, such as supply chain management,

electronic order processing and customer relationship management” (NA, 2018). This information can

be accessed through brick- and-mortar medical health care by providing customers with the ability to

access product through a click of a button online, which is less expensive being your simple providing a

site online for customers to access rather than having a location and having to pay for the location plus

the distribution of the product.

Moving forward the disintermediation: The e-business’s health care information and services

accessed directly, often substituting or bypassing traditional medical service providers. This process is

less expensive because it is online. So there is no need for paying for renting a building to sell the

products in. Customers have the opportunity to buy products and access the site no matter where they

are around the world. While traditional services only allows a customer to access their products at a

certain location which is hurting the customers if they have to travel far or do not have transportation.

Lastly, reintermediation: The e-business’s health care information and services delivered by utilizing

third-party online services for medical treatment advice, customer/user data analysis, registration and

sponsorship payment processing, or information security protection. This allows customers to feel safe

about accessing the site because the site will provide security to the customer’s information. This will

build loyalty and trust because customers will see their information is safe when accessing this site.
