Anne and Alice at the Shop. Anne has a deck load of Oysters. She still has the old Pilot House.

The Crane is a Lorain, our shop machine for many years, but she finally died, now we have a Link-Belt Truck Crane,
40 ton. Off Anne's port bow is a pebble we lost off the C.V. Pier, while we were unloading stone out of Railroad cars,
from Rock of Ages Quarry, Vermont. The cut Stone was used to build Chubb Wharf at Mystic Seaport. That "pebble"
weighs about 20 ton. You should have seen the splash it made! WOW!

Anne's latest re-build, 2000 to 2001. This time she was re-built at the West Mystic Shipyard. Under a Plastic Dome,
very nice, it was heated, and in the Summer one could open the sides and ends. These fellows did a wonderful job,
old style shipwrights, these boys. When she was finished she was set back overboard with a travel lift. She looks
grand. Not bad for a vessel that was built in 1882. 102 years old. She must have cost, over $150,00 to re-build her
this time.
