This interview is conducted by the direct supervisor and this guide is intended to assist in the
overall screening of the candidate. The purpose is to determine the candidate’s ability to provide
the key deliverables as specified in the Job Scorecard, interact with the direct supervisor to assess
overall chemistry, and dig into any areas that were flagged in the Screening Interview. Please use
the following points and questions to navigate the conversation, and be sure to note the
applicant’s pertinent responses along with any observations you make during your time with the
candidate. Pertinent responses include but are not limited to those relating to a candidate’s work
history, job performance, core values, and professional interests but do not include items such as
a candidate’s age, disability, race, religion or national origin.
