Nagua Picture

This picture was taken in April 2019 when I went on a trip with my nana to the

Dominican Republic. We went there for 10 days to visit my auntie and her fiancé. They live in

Cabarete but I took this picture when we went on a little road trip to Las Terrenas.

I remember the feeling when I got out of that car for the first time in two hours. It felt so

good to stretch. The hot air hit me right in the face, but it felt so nice. Before this picture was

taken, my auntie was taking pictures of me on this swing by the ocean. My auntie and I were

also taking pictures together and of the ocean. We were in a rush so we couldn’t stay there for

long, but it was super pretty. Nothing can beat the sound of big ocean waves crashing on to the

shore. I’d love to go back to that spot one day!

This picture is important to me because it reminds me of my trip. I had a super fun time

there because I love spending time with my auntie. Looking at pictures from that trip makes me

sad because I want to go back but I know it will be worth the wait. The feeling when you step

off the plane and get into the airport is amazing. I remember it like it was yesterday and I hope I

get to experience that feeling again very soon.
