ACMA represents over 635 companies, which contributes more than 85% of the total
auto component output in the organised sector. In the domestic market, they supply
components to vehicle manufacturers as original equipment, to tier-one suppliers, to
state transport undertakings, defence establishments, railways and even to the
replacement market. A variety of components are being exported to OEM's and after-
markets world-wide.
ACMA is inseparably linked with the auto component sector and hence forms the channel

Mr. Suman Kant Munjal, Managing Director, Rockman
Industries Ltd.(Auto Div.), after completing his graduation in

management trainings in India and abroad, he started his
career with Rockman Cycle Industries Limited as Executive
in 1982.
Under his able guidance, the company achieved a record growth in production of
bicycle parts and became the largest manufacturer of bicycle Chains and Hubs. The
Company went for diversification in 1995 and established its Auto Components
Division where motorcycle drive and cam chains were manufactured. Later in the year

Mr. Arun Gupta, Managing Director, Technico Industries
Ltd., aged 58 years is leading Technico. He has done B.Com
from Punjab University, Chandigarh and M.B.A. from Faculty
of Management Studies, Delhi. He has over 3 decades of
experience in the Automotive Industry. He started his career
in the year 1972 with a Proprietary concern. Mr. Arun with
his foresightedness, hard work and intelligence has totally
transformed the business and changed that Proprietorship
into a Limited Company. He has expertise in finance and
formulating and implementing the business strategy for the
Company. Mr. Arun has over all control of finance, taxation and corporate affairs of
the Company. He is the guiding force behind Technico and has been representing
Technico at national and international level for nurturing business. He has hands on
experience in initiating talks with the Corporate Houses in India or abroad engaged in
the auto sector, negotiating and closing deals with them. Mr. Arun Gupta established
Technico as a manufacturer of special and hardware parts for exports and automotive
applications. He diversified Technico's business into sheet metal parts and sub-
assemblies for automotive applications as original equipment. He has been
successful in establishing Technico as a leading supplier to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd for
Window Regulators, Door & Hood Hinges and Seat Sliders & Recliners.
