Hello 6th Grade Families!

My name is Kayla Kormos. I attend Siena Heights University, and I am a double major in

special education and English. At Siena, I have been involved in T.E.A.C.H and softball, while also

getting many hours in public and separate schools. I also work at Applebee's and The HOPE

Community Center. I am a program coordinator at HOPE, and it is the best job in the world. I

have built wonderful relationships with my members and have gained so much experience

while interacting with them daily.

Last year, I completed 100 hours while observing and teaching lessons in Mrs.

Wetherby’s classroom. This year, I will be student teaching under Mrs. Wetherby. I am

extremely excited to learn from such a wonderful teacher, while also learning from your

students. I look forward to this year and all the wonderful learning and growing that will take

place in our classroom.
