Delos Santos, Caryll

I am struggling with my situation right now, and that is to attend classes online. I know that all of
us are struggling with this situations, not only students but teachers and all front liners. This
pandemic made me realize that life is too short so do your responsibility with love and appreciate
all the things that you have. This pandemic also makes me realize that all you need to do is to
love yourself, and your family. Stay to your house, do skincare, do whatever you loved, eat
healthy, and exercise daily to keep you strong and healthy. For me, that is love and do it for
yourself not to other people because you will never feel full of love if you don’t take care of
yourself first before others. Before when I was in elementary and in high school, I always
compare myself to others because I feel like I am so unlucky in a way that I always ask myself
that ‘Why some of my friends have this, and why me are not having it?’. I don’t see the things
that I have I didn’t feel that. I always see the things that I want to someone, and I always say to
myself that I wish I have those things that they have. When I was elementary I want to have a
good grade like 85 to 90 but then, I never have that. I always ask myself that ‘Why I can’t
achieve it?’. I’ll do everything but then it’s not enough’. When I’m in high school, I get what I
want. I enroll in good school, I have a good grades and all the things that I wish before, I have it
already and I am so thankful to God for giving it to me. I always go to school every year of my life
to study and now, It’s a first time for me to have an online class and it is so different. From face
to face to online class, and now I am in college. I just want everyone to understand that not all of
the students can afford gadgets, Wi-Fi/internet. I just want them to understand the students who
is struggling right now because of academics.
Things you can write about:

1. Think of the last time you did something for the first time. Write about it. What was it like and
what did you learn about yourself?
2. What is the one thing you cannot leave home without? What is it and what does it represent
to you?
3. Is there anything you want to say to another person — but cannot? Try writing it down. And
then ask yourself: What is keeping you from saying it?
4. What is the one area of your life that you are struggling with the most right now? What
factors make it a struggle? What factors can you OVERCOME?
5. Are you where you want to be right now? Why or why not? If not, what are you willing to do
to get out of this situation and into one that you prefer?
