“The Effectiveness of Distance Learning and Understanding of Grade 12 students of UMTC” is truly a

quantitative research for the title itself attempts to establish cause and effect relationship among the
variables which is the quasi- experimental. Aside from that, it is very similar to true experiments but
with some key differences because the effects of the independent variable on the dependent variable
are measured.
