C. Summary of movie

The story begun when Dr.Calloway found the body of his wife died in the
bathtub. And his daughter Emily witnessed it. The child was in trauma that’s why
his father sent her to a children hospital.
A few days ago, Dr. Calloway decided together with his daughter Emily to
move in New York for their own good. There, Emily met her mysterious friend
named “Charlie’’. Her friendship with Charlie begins to disturb David. David also
recurring a nightmares at a specific time of night (2:06) am. In his dreamed it
keeps remind him the New Years Eve Party that occurred the night before his
wife die.
Katherine, the family friend of Calloway, came to visit David and Emily. In
her conversation with Emily, the child reveals that she and Charlie are getting
closer and have a mutual desire to upset her father.
Soon they meet their neighbors. David catches the husband of his
neighbor talking to Emily in their backyard. Later David discover that the child of
his neighbor was look a like of his daughter Emily.
 David meets Elizabeth and her niece Amy, who is the same age of Emily.
David arranges a play date with Amy. The next day, Elizabeth brings Amy over to
David’s house. Amy bring her doll along, to play with Emily, but when Amy
attempt to initiate a conversation with Emily, Emily cuts up Amy’s doll’s face and
tell “ You shouldn’t be here. You get hurt.” After Amy runs out of the house, Emily
tell her daddy that she doesn’t need anymore friends.
Some time later, Elizabeth visits again to David’s house hoping to make a
peace with Emily. She found Emily in her room and tell her that she is playing
hide and seek with Charlie. Elizabeth pretending to look for Charlie. And when
she open the closet, Charlie burst out and pushes to a window. Then Elizabeth
died.
After the police discover the car of Elizabeth crashed near David’s house
he ask Emily what happened, she claims Charlie caused the death of Elizabeth
and she tells the location the body of Elizabeth. A terrified David discover
Elizabeth body in a bathtub full of blood. David ask Emily where’s Charlie and tell
him just left the house.
There’s a night when David armed of knife, goes outside looking for
Charlie. He saw his concerned neighbor and tell him that he saw him walking
outside and very noise. David assumes that his neighbor was Charlie and begins
it to act aggressively and he cuts the hand of his neighbor. Then the neighbor
called the police. After this, David discover that he has a split personality. He
realizes that Charlie is not imaginary but in fact Charlie is David himself. And he
also realizes that under Charlie’s personality, he killed his wife.
The sheriff came for an investigation but unfortunately the sheriff was also
killed Charlie and David was under that time in Charlie’s personality. Emily called
Katherine for help, and she tell her that her daddy can’t save her now.
Katherine’s arrives and she looking for Emily. Charlie ( David ) saw her
and pushed in the basement. Charlie determined to play hide and seek to Emily.
The was hiding. He start looking for Emily. When Charlie goes in she makes run
and go to her room and she locked the door. Then Charlie tries to open the door,
when he opened the door, Emily climbs to the windows and run to the cave when
she originally met Charlie.
In the cave Charlie looking for Emily, when Katherine’s arrives. Charlie
tries to kill her but Emily’s came’s out and tell him to let go Katherine. Charlie
switching the light of flashlight on and off, when he is finally in the front of Emily,
Katherine’s came’s between them and shoots Charlie, killing him.
The movie end when finally Emily was in the custody of Katherine. When
she preparing going to school she made a drawing herself and Katherine,
suggesting that everything is fine. But when the camera cuts back to Emily’s
drawing, Emily has to heads means that she herself also suffering spilt
personality.

handling the situation
• Make time to listen to client, encouraging appropriate expression of
feelings and ability including anger
• Refer to appropriate support groups
• Provide feed back to assist client to separate reality from fantasy/altered
perception
