Air Heat Pumps

Electric air-source heat pumps are often used in moderate climates. They use the difference between outdoor air
temperatures and indoor air temperatures to cool or heat a home.

While air-source pumps are usually not quite as efficient as ground source the technology is improving all the time and some
models are able to provide 320% efficiencies compared to 400% for a ground source pump.
