Business Case – Large Drilling Company

No existing handheld application

being used in the drilling rigs
offshore for maintenance of rigs.

• No current support to access SAP during VSAT

downtime (offline mode)
Problem Statement

• Previous project with another vendor did not get deployed

successfully and got lost in the pipeline. (Cost to develop $1.3
Million USD)

• Synactive Offline solution was more for less (relatively a fraction of

the cost, but more functionality)
