Heads unos TOROI Schools Division Superi 1S te 2020 SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING SCHOOL EMPLEMENTERS OF THE, GULAYAN SA PAARALAN PROGRAM (GPP) ‘October 19, 2020 1 Pursuant to DepEd Order no, 223, 2016 entitled “Strengthening the Implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools Nationwide”, This Office announces the full implementation of the said program. The 2020 Search for the Outstanding School Implementers of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) shall be conducted on January 11-15,2021. At the same time, the Search for Outstanding Coordinator and Best Implementers will also be conducted. However, for schools with existing gardens are of better advantage. 2. Each School shall have a minimum of 200 sq.m. area. However, for schools without available space or with flooded area, they can adopt container gardening EY Recommended Vegetables to be planted in the school garden are vegetable plants that can help address malnutrition problems. All harvested vegetables shall be properly recorded by the school GPP coordinator with pictures of the pupils! students and teachers (before and during), The record book shall reflect the total number of kilos of vegetables harvested, number of kilos of harvested vegetables that are used in the school-based feeding program, and the number of kilos that are sold to the pupils, students, teachers, and community. 6. The mechanics of this Search for the Outstanding School Implementers of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) and Search for Outstanding Teachers and Best Implementers of the program are outlined in the enclosure from Regional Memorandum 356, s. 2018. 7. The GPP coordinator/teacher of the winning schools (Small and Big for Elementary and secondary category) shall be automatically declared as the Outstanding Coordinator and Best Implementers of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program for SY 2020-2021. 8 All District Offices are encouraged to submit the district winning school as entries for GPP Best Implementer in the division level not later than January 8 2020 District evaluating team shall be composed of PSDS, 3 School Heads and HNU. & A Division committee shall be composed of SGOD, Health, Nutrition Unit. ‘Chairman: Rollen B.
