Part | is about how to make the bag body fabrics; Part Il is about how to build square body; Part Ill explaining how to make handles. This tutorial contains not only written pattern and instruction, but also sequence instruction graphics/images as well as a link to our video tutorial. They all made to make you easier in following this tutorial. £425 em] * & 2 x i £4.25 em] PART I: BODY The final goal of this section is to create a square body with a size of approximately 27%10x20 cm. The body got by sewing all its parts (5 fabrics) each other in certain way. ‘As seen on pic. 01 below, the body consists of 5 fabrics: front, back, right, left, and bottom fabric. Front and Back fabric has the same size and pattern, as well as Right and Left fabric, Please just take a minute to learn diagram on picture 01, it may help you get better understanding before jump to the next steps. Cut the craft foam according to the fabric shape. Make it smaller than the fabric itself. It’s +1 cm tighter on each side of the fabric. 2, Glue cutted foam to fabric using any purpose adhesive or hot glue gun firmly. Below are sequence images of the process Fabric Foam Result Body Joining We need stitch marker to mark each corner of fabric which will be sewn. Please make sure you count correctly as seen on Picture O1. Next, using tapestry needle (Pict. 02). Combine all body parts according to the following order: 41, Sewing the left part to the bottom part. 2. Sewing the right part to the bottom part (Pict. 03 & 04). 3, Join the front and back parts. Please start ‘sewing from the corner and follow the flow of each stitch as seen on Pict. 05 - 09 4, Make sure there are +1.5 cm of slit on top of the body (between front part and back part) for zipper (Pict. 10) PART Ill: BAG HANDLES Spiral Handle Pattern Round 1: Bsc in magic ring, pict no. 1 Round 2: Without sl st, &sc in each stitch on back loop, pict no. 2 Round 3: Scin each stitch (unexplainable) or see pict no. 3 & 4 for details Work around till length approx. 25cm, sI st, pict no. 5 Make the end of the tube flat by pressing it with your fingers, then merge 4 pair opposite stitch there. Do the same steps above for the other end of the tube.
