One difficulty that I have always faced, and in reality, we have all been faced with the same

situation, is knowing how to make wiser use of time. In fact, it is a daily challenge to be
able to determine which things have priority over others. As the years go by, we acquire
more responsibilities, which leads to a greater demand on our time. We can look back at
each stage we progress, and we can ask ourselves, what were we doing with so much free
time. Without a doubt, time is a sacred gift, and its good use can bless our lives. The
question is how to know how to use it better?

Amulek teaches in the Book of Mormon a principle that is fundamental to me to learn how
to use our time better, he said: Because behold, this life is when a man must prepare to
appear before God; yes, the day of this life is the day in which the man must execute his
work. "(Alma 34:32), the most important thing that we must do in the day is everything that
allows us to" prepare ourselves to appear before God ". A dedicated study of the Scriptures,
sincere prayer, strengthening the family, are actions that prepare us both for the challenges
of this life and for eternal life, and this leads us to make better use of our day.
President Russell M Nelson said, "I promise you that if you study the Book of Mormon
prayerfully every day, you will make better decisions every day." It is a very valuable
promise if we want our days to have more purpose.

In my daily life I have seen how putting God first makes a big difference in my day.
Especially spending the first hour in the morning studying the scriptures has allowed me to
better direct my day and make better decisions about how to use my time more wisely. I
receive more inspiration from what things I should pay more attention to, even if one of my
children needs more of my time. There is definitely no instruction guide where we can see
step by step what to do and what not to do during the day, but if we give priority to what is
most important, the Holy Spirit will guide us.
